NCYU Teachers College Signed MOU With College of Education, University of Hawaii
The Teachers College of National Chiayi University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the College of Education of University of Hawaii (UH). Professor Xu Di arrived in Taiwan on behalf of the UH and expects to establish a collaborative relationship with NCYU through the MoU. In the future, both universities will work jointly on academic exchanges, publications and research projects such as Joint-dual degree agreement, teachers and student exchange programs, overseas internship, academic writings, teaching performances exchange, joint short-term learning class, and academic meetings, which will be beneficial to the development of both universities.
University of Hawaii was established in 1907, its College of Education encompassing areas such as educational administration, counselling and guidance, courses and teaching, educational sociology, educational philosophy, history of education, education policy, comparative education, curriculum development, educational psychology, physical education, special education, childhood education, elementary and higher education teacher preparation programs and is similar to NCYU’s Teachers College in terms of history, subjects and professionalism, favorable to forge a deeper and enduring relationships between the two universities, says Yueh-Chun Huang, dean of Teachers College of NCYU.
The Chair Ruyu Hung, Professor Mao-Neng Li, Professor Ching-Sze Wang of the Department of Education, Professor Wei Chin Hong, the Chair of the Department of Physical Education, Health & Recreation, Professor Wei-Hsiu Lin, Professor Ya-wen Hsu, and Professor Chiu-Jung Chen of Department of E-learning Design and Management attended the meeting on behalf of the Teachers College and engaged in the academic exchanges.
